DESCRIPTION:
Elemi Therapeutic Grade Essential Oil has a very fresh, citrusy, peppery and spicy aroma. The oil belongs to the same botanical family (Burseraceae) as frankincense & myrrh and is distilled from the gum of a tree originating in Philippines. Traditionally, it has been included in celebrated healing ointments like baume paralytique.CONSTITUENTS:
Terpineol, elemicine, elemol, dipentene, phellandrene and limonene.AROMATIC SUMMARY / NOTE / STRENGTH OF AROMA:
A middle note with a medium aroma, it can be best described by comparing it to a dill pickle with citrus notes. It is surprisingly fresh and clean, and not as tart as one would expect.BLENDS WITH:
