Onion Oil

Vegetable like onion is considered as an indispensable part of Indian cuisine. Consumption of onion helps to avert breast and stomach cancer. As a volatile oil, Onion Oil tends to evaporate when exposed to air under normal temperature. Derived via steam distillation method, this oil has particular smell of onion. The obtained oil is reckoned for its sleep inducing, disinfecting, antibacterial and stimulating properties.

Onion oil contains compounds like sulphides and dipropyl disulfide.

The top note smell of this essential oil has pungent and long lasting smell.

Onion essential oil easily integrates with the essential oils of Cardamom, Basil, Cinnamon, Chamomile, Clary Sage, Cedar wood, Coriander and Bergamot.

This oil is commonly referred as Onion essential oil.

To get the best result, it is suggested to use Onion Oil without mixing it with other substances, although, this oil can be blended with fragrant substances and essential oils to avoid its sulfur like smell. To experience its aphrodisiac benefits, combine one tablespoon of this oil with ginger extract of same amount. Use this mixture for three times a day to improve libido.
