It is used as a fixative & fragrance ingredient in soaps, cosmetics and perfumes (especially oriental types). Further, it also has anti-parasitic, antispasmodic, antiseptic, depurative, nervine, emmenagogue, rubefacient, stimulant (circulatory, production of red corpuscles), sedative, tonic, vermifuge properties.
